You can purchase the 2023 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid in three trim levels: Blue, SEL, and Limited. On the Blue, you get 16-inch Eco-spoke design wheels, LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, LED and bulb taillights, and a center high-mount stop light as standard features. The outside mirrors are body-colored and feature integrated turn signal indicators. You also get a Gloss Black grille, body-colored door handles, and a rear spoiler. The hands-free smart trunk release makes loading and unloading cargo in your Sonata Hybrid easier than ever.

Moving up to the SEL adds 17-inch Eco-spoke design wheels, heated outside mirrors, and body-colored door handles with chrome accents. You get premium LED headlights and full LED taillights on the top-of-the-line Limited.

Power and Performance

All three trim levels of the 2023 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid have the same powertrain. You get a 2.0-liter four-cylinder hybrid engine that delivers 150 horsepower and 139 lb-ft of torque. The engine pairs with a 270-volt lithium battery that has a 39-kWh permanent magnet high-power density motor for a combined system horsepower of 192. The engine mates to a six-speed automatic transmission with SHIFTRONIC and paddle shifters. Front-wheel drive is standard for a seamlessly smooth drive every time. You can customize the drive to fit conditions or personal preferences with the drive mode select feature.

The unibody construction, MacPherson strut with coil springs front suspension, and independent multi-link rear suspension provide you and your passengers with a comfortable ride over most road surfaces. The four-wheel anti-lock braking system lets you stop on a dime when necessary to keep you and those around you safer on the road. Take control of your path with the motor-driven power steering rack-and-pinion steering across all three trims.

Interior Design

Slide behind the wheel of the 2023 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid, and you’ll discover an interior designed for driver and passenger comfort and convenience. The Blue has cloth upholstery with seating for five, a six-way adjustable driver’s seat, a four-way adjustable passenger seat, and a 60/40-split folding rear seat for various available cargo and passenger configurations to meet your needs. You also get an 8-inch touchscreen with HD radio, SiriusXM, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. Keep everyone charged up with the USB ports and 12-volt power outlet.

Standard features include air conditioning with dual automatic temperature control, a tilt-and-telescopic steering wheel, a 4.2-inch digital gauge display, Bluetooth hands-free wireless audio streaming, power windows with driver’s side automatic power up/down, and Bluelink.

Moving up to the SEL adds power-adjustable and heated front seats and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. You also get a 10.25-inch touchscreen with navigation, a 12-speaker Bose premium stereo system, and dynamic voice recognition for upgraded infotainment and audio. Wireless device charging and dual USB ports are also standard on the SEL. The passenger window also adds automatic power up/down for your convenience.

The top-of-the-line Limited adds even more features to upgrade the interior of your 2023 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid. You get leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and a leather-wrapped dashboard. The Limited also adds a panoramic sunroof for an open-air feeling in your Sonata Hybrid. Additional features include a 12.3-inch digital gauge display, ambient lighting, LED interior lighting, and an integrated memory system for the driver’s seat and side mirrors.

The total interior volume for all three trims of the 2023 Hyundai Sonata is 120.4 cubic feet, with 104.4 cubic feet for passengers and 16.0 cubic feet for cargo.
