Park Lodge

You’ll find Park Lodge at 411 N. Nettleton St. in Spokane, open from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday for all of your romantic dinner needs. Chef Philip designs the menu to perfectly match the season, using only the freshest produce and meats available. Park Lodge overlooks the Spokane River, offering spectacular views of the area’s natural beauty.

The current menu offers bruschetta, steak tartare, and steamed Manila clams as starters to prepare your palate. Entrees include a 12-ounce Snake River Farms American Gold wagyu ribeye, wood fire duck breast, steak frites, and roasted or grilled half chicken dinners. You can choose from several sides, including Yukon Gold potato puree, sauteed mushrooms, and Brussels sprouts. Top off your evening with a Park Lodge sundae or apple crumble.

Inland Pacific Kitchen

The Inland Pacific Kitchen is another romantic destination driven by a seasonal menu to offer the freshest ingredients. Reservations are highly recommended during their service hours of 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday through Saturday and Sunday brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome if space allows. The Inland Pacific Kitchen is located at 304 W. Pacific Ave. in Spokane.

On the winter menu, you’ll find Parker House rolls, king oyster tartine, seared foie gras, and oysters to share as you begin your dinner. Entree options include the ribeye bourguignon with smoked pearl onions, farm carrots, house bacon, king oyster mushrooms, and fingerling potatoes. Perhaps you’d like to try the bouillabaisse with scallops, prawns, cod, tomato brodo, pearl onion, fennel, marinated cherry tomato, and seagrass as your main course? Luna

A romantic locally owned and community-driven restaurant destination is Luna, located at 5620 S. Perry St. in Spokane. You can enjoy a meal at Luna Sunday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., with an extra hour available on Friday and Saturday until 9 p.m. Most ingredients are sourced locally from KJ Pottery, Casa Cano Farms, Doma, Culture Bread Milling, Spokane Family Farms, Westward Leather Co., and Spiceologist.

Once again, to keep ingredients fresh and local, Luna offers a seasonal menu, with the winter menu featuring crab cakes, butternut squash bisque, and salmon charcuterie as small plate options to start your meal. Main plates include coconut prawns, crab pasta, sea bass, oxtail, duck, and filet. Luna also offers 800-degree wood-oven pizzas, such as the Margherita, pear and pancetta, and Italian. Wiley’s Downtown Bistro

Chef-owner Michael Wiley will treat your taste buds to an amazing meal at Wiley’s Downtown Bistro, located at 115 N. Washington St. in Spokane. Lunch is offered Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., with dinner available Monday through Saturday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wiley’s offers a complete cocktail bar with various selections to enhance your dinner. Local delivery is available through Treehouse Deliveries if you’re interested in a romantic dinner for two in the comfort of your own home.

The dinner menu features social plates to start your meal, such as the love bun, shrimp cocktail, ahi tower, baked brie, and crab puff. For the lighter appetite or as course add-ons, you’ll find a daily soup special, Wiley wedge salad, and Louie prawns. Side dishes include Brussels Marcona almond and asparagus spears garlic. Select from prawns, crab-topped salmon, braised short ribs, top sirloin, duck confit, or ravioli for your entree. Finish your romantic dinner with creme brulee, margarita pie, chocolate pot de creme, or mud pie at Wiley’s Downtown Bistro.

Italia Trattoria

You can enjoy your romantic dinner for two inside or alfresco under the newly covered and heated patio at Italia Trattoria. They are located at 144 S. Cannon St. in Spokane, with hours for dine-in on Wednesday through Saturday for dinner starting at 5 p.m. Brunch is available on Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Chef Anna Vogel combines her world travels and European heritage to create a revolving menu with homemade pasta, naturally raised meats, and fresh seafood.

The dinner menu currently includes charred octopus with potatoes, spicy tomato oil, and lemon parsley salad or beef carpaccio with arugula, mozzarella, Parmesan, tomatoes, basil oil, and capers on the starter menu. Main dishes include the wild boar, a red wine tomato-braised boar with cherry pepper and parsley salad, cavatelli pasta, and Parmesan. You can also get a more traditional spaghetti and meatballs with red sauce, four meatballs, and Parmesan. A favorite is the lamb t-bone with three chops, brown butter, sweet potato gnocchi, cognac Madagascar green peppercorn sauce, fresh herb salad, and grilled broccoli.

Sides include creamy Parmesan risotto, caramelized Brussels sprouts, crispy smashed potatoes, and spaghetti. Italia Trattoria also offers a menu for the kiddos if it’s too hard to sneak away without them while still enjoying a romantic dinner. Dessert options include a trio of chocolate truffles, Italia tiramisu, and sorbet.
