This artistic performance evokes powerful storytelling through skilled dance, elaborate costumes, and a score of original music performed by a full orchestra. Patented backdrop technology incorporates CGI special effects, sound effects, and unique atmospheric effects to create a breathtaking experience that reinvigorates the world of ancient China. While China’s communist regime doesn’t allow Shen Yun in its own country, this group of Chinese artists has dutifully used the show to highlight ancient Chinese civilization for audiences around the globe.
