What to Expect From the 2021 Hyundai Elantra & Elantra Hybrid
A few weeks ago, Hyundai unveiled the launching model for the 2021 model year with the reveal of the 2021 Hyundai Elantra and Elantra Hybrid. Using what they call the Parametric Dynamic design theme, it may be the best looking Elantra yet, with 4-door coupe-like styling. Read on below to learn what you can expect from the model.
This is the 7th generation of the popular compact sedan, and it comes with a longer, but wider, wheelbase. For the first time in the segment, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto will be available. Another segment first includes Hyundai Digital Key. This means that no key will be required to unlock, start or drive the Elantra… not even a key fob. Instead, these capabilities will be possible with simply the use of a smartphone or an NFC card.
Further enhancing the model is natural language voice recognition with Deep Meaning Understanding technologies. These and other infotainment capabilities are controlled through two available 10.25-inch screens.
2021 Elantra Hybrid MPG
Of course, we have to talk a little about the Elantra Hybrid for 2021 as well. And the most important aspect of the vehicle there will be the fuel economy.
With the Elantra’s debut hybrid variant, Hyundai has managed to achieve a combined EPA estimated fuel economy rating of more than 50 mpg. Meanwhile, the engine delivers up to 147 horsepower and 132 lb-ft of torque.
We can’t wait to show you the 2021 Hyundai Elantra. Thankfully, the wait shouldn’t be too long, as the model is expected to go on sale in the 4th quarter of 2020. For all the latest Hyundai updates, be sure to check back to the Spokane Hyundai blog.
