What Is Hyundai Doing During the COVID-19 Pandemic?
There’s no denying that these are scary times. With the current coronavirus pandemic sweeping the world amidst an economic downturn, it’s hard to know what the future holds. That’s why Hyundai is seeking to deliver some assurance in a time of uncertainty like this.
It’s being called the Assurance Job Loss Protection program. As part of the program, Hyundai will handle up to 6 months of payments for new Hyundai owners that lost their jobs due to the crisis. This applies to leases as well as purchases. Anyone who took delivery of their vehicle from March 14 to April 30 of 2020 are eligible.
Select purchases made through April 30 may also receive 0% APR financing with deferred payment for 120 days when financed through Hyundai Motor Finance.
But, if you are an existing Hyundai driver rather than a new one, Hyundai is working to help you out too. Current Hyundai Motor Finance customers can defer payments as well for up to 3 months if they lose their job or face a medical hardship that may make payments difficult. These scenarios should be reported prior to April 30, 2020.

Existing Hyundai drivers may also already be aware that certain Hyundai Blue Link Connected Car services are complementarily available during this time, through the end of May. This includes SOS Emergency Assistance, Automatic Collision Notification and Enhanced Roadside Assistance.
